The basis on which we quote, carry out work and provide this website.

## About these terms
These terms apply to the use of this website and to quotations and services provided by Positive & Nav Electrical Ltd, Avalon, Macmillan Road, Rowley Regis, B65 8AS. Where we issue a written quotation or contract for a specific job, that document takes precedence over anything on this website if the two differ.

## Quotations and estimates
Quotations are issued in writing after a survey wherever the scope requires one, and are provided with no obligation on you to proceed. Each quotation states the assumptions it is based on.

Where work uncovers conditions that could not reasonably have been identified at survey, for example concealed damage, undocumented existing circuits or non-compliant earlier work, we will inform you, explain the options and agree any variation in writing before proceeding.

Indicative figures given over the phone or by email before a survey are estimates only and are not binding quotations.

## Call-out fees
Where a call-out fee applies it is a reasonable rate and is confirmed to you before we attend, so there is no charge you have not been told about in advance.

## Carrying out the work
Work is carried out to the wiring regulations and standards applicable at the time of installation, and certification is issued on completion together with test results and, where relevant, corrected board schedules.

You are responsible for providing safe access to the property or site at the agreed times, and for obtaining any consents required by a landlord, freeholder, managing agent or planning or listed building authority.

Programme dates and attendance windows are given in good faith. Where a delay arises from access, third-party works or supply issues outside our control, we will inform you and re-programme as soon as practicable.

## Payment
Payment terms are stated on the quotation or invoice for the specific job. Materials and equipment supplied remain our property until paid for in full. Title to any installed goods passes on full payment.

## Faults after completion
If something we installed does not perform as it should, contact us and we will attend to investigate. Manufacturer warranties on supplied equipment are passed to you and are subject to the manufacturer's own terms.

We are not responsible for faults arising from alterations carried out by others after completion, from misuse, or from pre-existing parts of an installation that were outside the scope of our work.

## Cancellation
Where you engage us as a consumer away from our premises, you have the statutory right to cancel within the period set out in your quotation or order confirmation. If you ask us to begin work within that period, you may be charged for what has been supplied up to cancellation.

## Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability in relation to any job is limited to the value of that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

## Use of this website

## Governing law
